Installation Instructions – Pro Pegs for Honda ATV TRX90

Follow these step-by-step instructions to properly install your Pro Pegs on your Honda TRX90 ATV. Read all steps before beginning installation.

Tools & Materials Needed

• Socket set (metric)
• Wrench set (metric)
• Thread-locking compound (e.g., Loctite Blue 243)
  
• Safety glasses

Hardware, Front Mount & Brackets Included

• 20x 6mm washers
• 14x 8mm washers
• 12x 10mm washers
• 8x 6mm nylock nuts
• 2x 8mm nylock nuts
• 3x 6x20hhcs bolts
• 1x 6x25hhcs bolts
• 2x 8x20hhcs bolts
• 1x8x25hhcs bolts
• 7x8x30hhcs bolts
• 2x8x50hhcs bolts
• 6x6x70hhcs bolts
• 1x Left 4190 Bracket
• 1x Right4190Bracket 
• 1x Front Mount
• Black Powdercoated Pegmounts Left and Right
• Stainless Steel Footpegs

Step 1 – Prepare the ATV

Park the ATV on a flat, stable surface and engage the parking brake. Allow the engine to cool completely before beginning work. Ensure the ATV is stable and will not roll during installation.

Step 2 – Remove the Stock Footpegs

Remove Foot Pegs, Brackets and Plastics Shrouds. Install Peg mounts using (7) 8 x 30 and (1) 8 x 25 goes in the right side mount in the inside front hole. Leave Bolts loose until all bolts are in place.

Step 3 – Secure the Front Fenders

Install 10mm washers to space fenders to fender brackets. 

Step 4 – Front Bracket Install

Install Front backet (steel) to rear 'A arm" mounts and tighten them securely. Install front aluminum mount usin (2) 6 x 20 hhcs bolts.

Step 5 – Sliding Nerf Bars into Position

Slide Nerf Bars into the Mounts leaving a little space to put bolts into rear support brackets. Install rear support brackets and finish sliding into place. (2) 8 x 20 bolts go into the end of Nerf Bar (1) 6 x 20 replaces left side bolt and (1) 6 x 25 replaces right side bolt for the fender supports.

Step 6 – Drilling Front Mount

Drill Front Mount both sides using a 21/64 Drill (Horizontally). Install (2) 8 x 50 bolts, (4) 8mm washers, and (2) 8mm Nylock Nuts. Now that all bolts are in place tighten securely. 

Step 7 – Install Nets

Install Nets loosely (Both Sides)

Step 8 – Install Stainless Steel Foot Pegs

Install foot pegs using (3) 6mm x 70 hhcs bolts, (6) 6mm Washers, (3) 6mm Nylock Nuts per side.

Step 9 - Adjust Nets to Riders Prefrerence
